Proposal for a European year of cultural heritage in 2018

The European Commission is proposing to organise the European year of cultural heritage in 2018.

The proposal was communicated on 14 April 2016 by the Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker to the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz. The final decision will be taken by the European Parliament and the Council.
