Geneva Peace Week, 7 - 11 November 2016 |

We are pleased to share the final programme of the third edition of Geneva Peace Week that will take place from 7 to 11 November 2016. Over five days, Geneva Peace Week will be the umbrella for 52 events with over 100 speakers organized by 55 institutions. The events will feature substantive and original contributions about building peace and resolving conflict. Geneva Peace Week will highlight that each and every person, actor and institution has a role to play in building peace. It will also emphasize the importance of working outside the silos and enable more creative responses in a variety of contexts.
Geneva Peace Week is a collective action initiative facilitated by the United Nations Office at Geneva and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform, a platform of major Geneva-based institutions working on peace. The Week provides a common framework for peace-related events for which the respective organizers retain full ownership. Geneva Peace Week events do not necessarily reflect the views of UNOG or the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform.
